This course evaluates the cross-cultural applicability of psychological theory and research. It will examine the influence of culture, broadly construed, on psychological processes such as perception and cognition, development, social interactions and relationships, gender roles, self-understanding, persuasion, and psychopathology. This course will also investigate the methodological constraints and opportunities presented by cross-cultural differences. Every year.
