A conversation course for the non-native speaker with intensive practice in those areas that are particularly difficult for native English-speaking students. This course is designed to increase oral and writing proficiency in Spanish through an introduction of the study of cinema from Spain and Latin America. Students will develop conversational skills with the introduction to advanced vocabulary in context. There will be additional grammar review particularly relating to composition strategies. Prerequisite:SPA 197.
