This course is an introduction to mental well-being through the practice of stress management and personal health planning. Current theories of mental health are explored, areas of intrapersonal and interpersonal stress are identified, and coping skills and relaxation techniques are practiced. Skills are developed to eliminate high-risk behaviors and maintain better overall health. Spring semester.
