This course is designed to offer the graphic design, illustration and painting major an understanding of the watercolor medium. Various techniques and approaches in the use of watercolor will be investigated and explored by the student, with emphasis on the medium's usage in graphic design, illustrating and painting. Museum and gallery visits will be included when possible. Critiques are an essential part of the course.
