This course introduces the graphic designer to the expanding use and role of collage in all areas of art expression. This studio course will investigate the various techniques and concepts involved in collage. Studio exercises in collage using a variety of materials (e.g. paper, tectiles, plastics , metals and montage) will be included. Visits to museums and galleries when appropriate. Individual/group critiques are regularly scheduled.
