Provides students with an understanding of the ecosystem as a dynamic and interrelated system. Emphasis is placed on federal land management in the United States, natural resource economics, the fundamentals of environmental law and policy, and wilderness management. Applied projects are an integral aspect of the course, and a field trip may be required. Prerequisite: admission to the Program or instructor permission.
