An advanced writing course that helps students develop skills in analytical thinking and investigative reporting and put a more polished "edge" on their writing skills. The coursealso explores some of the history and philosophical development of American journalism and helps students develop better copy-editing skills. Prerequisites: COTH 241; one or more credits of JOUR 245; corequisite: concurrent enrollment in JOUR 499 is suggested but not required.
