This course builds on knowledge gained in MUS 129 and introduces non-chord tones; cadences, phrases, and periods; and tonicization and rudimentary counterpoint. (Offered spring) Prerequisite: MUS 129 with minimum grade of "C." Corequisite: MUS 130.
