4 HRS. Continuation of MUSI 122. Examines Neopolitan and augmented sixth chords, upper tertian chords, and chromatic harmony. Sixteenth and eighteenth century counterpoint will be introduced along with analysis of rondo, variation and sonata allegro forms. Course will continue to develop student skills in ear training, sight singing and keyboard harmony. (Prerequisites: MUSI 122.) F
