3 HRS. The analysis of the sequential systems and digital logic circuits through the use of timing diagrams, sequential states tables, waveforms, truth tables and Karnaugh maps. Devices studied include: Counters, Flip-Flops, various memory devices, Microprocessors, Buffers and Arithmetic Logic Units (ALU). Circuits include: interfacing, data transmission, and arithmetic processors. Laboratory exercises will be used to support classroom instruction plus troubleshooting will be exercised. (2 lecture and 2 lab hours per week.) (Prerequisite: ELEC 222.) S
