3 HRS. This course assists the student to examine the practical aspects of pharmacology in relation to daily nursing practice in the health care environment. The content is presented according to body systems approach. Mechanism of action, indications, dosage, availability of drugs, drug interactions, and special nursing consideration will be considered for each classification. Emphasis will be placed on providing current clinical information to enable the student to understand the rationale for drug therapy management. On Demand.
