3 HRS. Study of the operation of industrial power control circuits. Devices covered include: Relays, conductors, solid state switches, SCRs, and TRIACs. Control circuit devices include UJTs, PUTs, DIACs, photo-devices and timers. Systems studied include conveyers, First Failure Annunciator, automatic welding converters and output amplifiers. Laboratory exercises are used to test and troubleshoot most of the systems covered in lectures. (2 lecture and 2 lab hours.) (Co-requisite: ELEC 222.) F
