3 HRS. Fundamentals and philosophy of total quality management and lean manufacturing in the industrial and service sectors. Principles of product flow, one-piece flow, demand flow and just-in-time scheduling. Case studies or actual business turn-around experiences will be reviewed and critiqued. Student projects will be undertaken to evaluate real-life projects and experiences.
