This is a field studies course that will have two primary focuses: 1) the study of the geologic history of a region of the U.S. and 2) the study and practice of geologic and paleontologic data collection (including fossils, rocks, and minerals) and the application of this data to paleontologic, stratigraphic, and sedimentologic interpretations of paleoenvironments.
