This course incorporates philosophical ethics, information technology case examples, research, and a project to investigate the ethical and human dimensions of information technology within organizations and in society. Learners will examine the ways in which traditional philosophical concepts and theories apply (or don't apply) to the world of information technology, and will explore topics such as intellectual property, privacy, risks and liabilities, and professional ethics.
