3 Cr. Students will explore the discipline of psychology as a fi eld of study, research, application, and service. In order to gain a perspective on the breadth of the fi eld, students will read a variety of sources, also faculty members and guests will discuss, with students, their areas of expertise, interests, and careers. These activities will help students identify areas in which they may develop expertise. The course will include a weekend retreat designed to build group cohesion, develop interpersonal skills, and explore personal and professional skills in a non-academic setting. Restricted to psychology majors.
