3 Cr. Course is directed toward the practice of teaching children art and participating meaningfully in children's interpretative practices. Art education students design and implement developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans as they teach in the Viterbo After School Art Program which offers eight-week art classes for students ages 5-12. Studio component: development of art educational objectives through laboratory experiences. Prerequisite: ARTS 206. Restricted to art education majors.
