3 Cr. This course introduces students to the legal framework in which American businesses operate as well as the ethical issues that inevitably arise in the legal environment of business. In addition to examining the American court system and its procedures, learners will focus on the substantive legal rules that govern American businesses. In particular, learners will focus on constitutional law, torts, products liability, criminal law, and contracts.
