- 5 certification units A detailed study is made of the proper methods of operating, testing and evaluating the performance of the aircraft reciprocating powerplant 100-hour annual inspection and flight line safety and operations. Included are computerized aircraft recording, record keeping, analysis of supporting systems, such as fire protection, engine instrumentation, turbocharging, system maintenance and troubleshooting, cockpit orientation and run-up of aircraft. Laboratory experience complements the classwork. Prerequisites or co-requisites: PC52, PP53, PS51
