- 4 credits (3 credits lecture and 1 credit lab) A first physics course for freshmen in both the bachelor and associate programs. This course is an introduction to classical mechanics and covers statics, kinematics, Newton's three laws of motion, vectors and rotational motion, including Newton's law of gravitation and conservation laws. Laboratory experiments enhance lecture topics. Corequisite: MAT115
