- 3 credits Describes the principles and logistics of air travel and other forms of transportation. This course examines the impact of transportation on the overall economy; the principal operating and financial factors for each mode of transportation; management practices and problems involved in the air cargo industry; and decision-making from the perspective of process for both carrier and user. There is also some coverage of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) rate and tariff problems and an overview of dangerous goods regulations.
