- 3 credits This course covers 3D design using 3D Studio Max software. Topics include the main tools: 3D geometric primitives, Boolean objects, morphing techniques and the materials editor. With the use of camera placements, lighting techniques and surface materials, students will create artistically rendered and photorealistic 3D scenes. Introduction to beginning animation techniques will also be covered. Prerequisite: CDE120
