Characteristics of real-time systems, system and software development standards, structured and object oriented development methods for real-time systems, using a computer- aided software engineering (CASE) tool in the development of a large engineering project. Emphasis is on real-time systems requirements analysis and design. This is a project based course. (3 hr. lec)
