This course is an introduction to music technology. Students will become profi cient in hardware and software associated with music, including CAI(computer-assisted instruction), synthesizers/samplers, composition/arranging, multi-media software, and MIDI (musical instrument digital interface). The course offers the aspiring musician many useful resources that will increase the mastery of basic musicianship, inspire and assist the creative process, and save valuable time in the execution of musical as well as non-musical tasks.
