The course is designed to familiarize students with the basics of electronic music. Focus is on commercial music production and the creation of pieces of radio/TV commercials, short documentary fi lms, and entertainment. Instruction in computer-based composition, sequencing, score preparation, and recording through the use of the current software. Arranged lab hours are required. PREREQUISITES: MUS 101 or 105 and C S 106 or permission of instructor.
