Continuous courses; 3 lecture hours. 3-3 credits. Prerequisite: Senior accounting major or permission of instructor. Provides detailed examination of laws that are of particular importance to accountants, along with ethical considerations and social and political influences. First semester: contracts, sales, agency, commercial paper, secured transactions and bankruptcy. Second semester: security regulations, antitrust, partnerships, corporations, suretyship, insurance, wills and trusts. Students may not receive degree credit for MGMT 481-482 and for MRBL 323, 324.
