Semester course; 1.5 lecture hours. 1 credit. Prerequisites: Grade of "B" or better in CHEM 101 and 102, and permission of instructor. Student facilitators lead recitation sections using guided inquiry, group-based activities. Introduces students to the principles of guided inquiry, active learning and collaborative learning in chemistry through practical, hands-on class work, class discussions and readings.
