Semester course; variable hours. Variable credit. Prerequisites: BIOL 151, 152 and BIOZ 151L, 152L, or equivalent. Laboratory investigations in a selected topic of biology. See the Schedule of Classes for specific topics to be offered each semester and prerequisites. A grade of "C" or higher is required in each prerequisite course: CHEM 100 (if required through placement test), CHEM 101, CHEM 102, CHEM 301 and CHEM 302. In chemistry laboratories each student is charged for breakage incurred. Approved safety glasses are required. Failure to check out of laboratory, upon withdrawal or for other reasons, will incur a charge, billed from the Student Accounting Department.
