Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisites: FRLG 201-202 Foreign Languages: Arabic or equivalent. Conducted in Arabic. Designed to develop further all language skills: reading, writing, comprehension and speaking. Course is divided into two parts: (a) language skills (grammar, short stories and poetry) and (b) field project (interaction with native speakers). Both parts include lectures, guest speakers and practicing the language with native speakers from the student body and the community at large. Courses at the 500 level listed in this bulletin are open to qualified seniors and graduate students only.
