Prerequisite: ANSC101, ANSC103, and ANSC232. Credit will be granted for only one of the following: ANSC489B or ANSC233. Formerly ANSC489B. Both normal and anomalous behavior of horses will be covered. Emphasis will be given to techniques based on knowledge of behavior that are known to be safe and effective in handling horses.
