The study of leadership theory and group dynamics is the primary focus of this course. Human nature and the motivation of the individual are examined in order to better understand individuals as members of groups. Face-to-face leadership techniques are put into practice as students lead activities as part of a class-sponsored special event and as they simulate management-level interaction and problem solving.
