In this course economic concepts and tools of analysis are applied to environemtnal and natural resource issues. Connections between the environment and the economy; methods of modeling natural resource and environmental problems; and techniques for measuring the value of environmental services are examined. Trade offs and incentives people face under different circumstances are considered; policy options for environmental protection and sustainable development are evaluated.
