The modeling process, proportionality and geometric similarity, model fitting and optimization, experimental modeling, dimensional analysis, simulation, and dynamic systems. Programming for simulation. Classes scheduled in the mathematics computer lab as appropriate. Familiarity with at least one high level programming language recommended. Prerequisite: MTH 205; MTH 351 (concurrent enrollment permitted) Expected to be offered: Spring semesters, odd years 3 credits
