Upon completion of this class, candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and respect the broad range of cultural expression, and to incorporate that knowledge in a sensitive and humane manner to promote understanding and concern among people of differing economic, social, cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, and religious backgrounds and develop a classroom and social climate that values this diversity.
