Corequisite: BIO 221 Introduces the student to the evaluation process which includes the identification, medical assessment, management, treatment and referral guidelines for athletic injuries of the lower body, lumbar spine and lower extremities. Topics of instruction include the principles of injury recognition and classification to the abdominal, thorax, lumbar spine, hip, knee, ankle and foot.
