3 semester hours Prerequisite: CHEM 141 Concurrent: with CHEM 320L This is a traditional organic chemistry course presented at an accelerated pace. The course will cover stereochemistry, alkanes, alkyl halides, alcohols, ethers, spectroscopy, alkenes and alkynes. Whenever possible, pharmacological and physiological applications or topics will be included. Competence of general chemistry principles is assumed and will not be reviewed.
