3 semester hours Prerequisite: CSCI 150 or permission of the instructor This course provides a thorough study of beginning and intermediate word processing concepts including the design and development of professional documents and business publications. Intermediate topics will include multi-column and landscape printing, footnotes/endnotes, outlines, indexing, table of contents, sorting, mail-merge, graphics, tables, macros, and math/spreadsheet features. A major project is part of this course. A popular commercial word processing package such as Microsoft Word will be used.
