semester hours Prerequisites: ENGL 106 or 107 and PSYC 100 This course will introduce students to the field of applied sport psychology from the perspective of a coach. Application of sport psychology theories will be applied to the areas of leadership, motivation, decision making, group effectiveness and team-building, peak performance, arousal, imagery, and concentration. Prospective coaches, physical or occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and student-athletes could benefit from this course.
