3 semester hours Prerequisite: EQST 401 or permission of instructor This course is designed to develop skills for teaching and training concepts for equitation, jumping, dressage, and performance horses. Students will organize, prepare, present, perform, and teach training exercises, ring figures, and riding skills. Utilization of classroom information will be applied through organizing and conducting individual and group lessons, under the guidance and supervision of a class instructor.
