2 semester hours Prerequisite: permission of instructor This course covers development of professional résumé and audition material for the performer;development of professional résumé and portfolio for production design and technology. All theatremajors are required to attend professional auditions and interviews each year; this course begins the preparation by detailing audition and interview expectations, techniques, and required materials. Students will begin a file of audition monologues and songs and prepare pieces for presentation in actual auditions, and/or begin compilation of a professional-level portfolio, and prepare materials for presentation in actual interviews. May be repeated up to three times.
