5 semester hours Prerequisites: PHAR 351, 361, 370, BIOL 300/300L, 302, 310/310L, 412/412L, CHEM 400, NSCI 323 This course prepares the student to manage the drug therapy of diseases covered under endocrinology and metabolism. The course is taught in an interactive style and integrates pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, pathophysiology, and therapeutics. Over the counter and herbal therapies are specifically included.
