2.5 semester hours Prerequisite(s): "C" or better previous semester courses and/or permission of the program director Taken during the last summer semester, this four-week rotation allows the students to choose an area of interest for further clinical experiences. This rotation can be developed in one of the six "core" clinicalareas or in a medical or surgical subspeciality. During this rotation the student is expected to further refine his/her clinical skills in preparation for clinical practice. The student will be under the supervision of a physician or PA preceptor but will be expected to assume more clinical responsibilities as commensurate with his/her abilities and level of knowledge.
