2 semester hours Prerequisite: admission into the professional component of the Physician Assistant Program or permission of the instructor and/or program director This course is a continuation of PHAS 390. The course will teach common office practice procedures, including suturing, injections, urinary and intravenous catheterization, aseptic technique, wound care and splinting, and casting techniques. Instruction will also be provided on indications, contraindications, and complications associated with the procedures involved.
