This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of exercise physiology and the systems involved in human performance. Specific topics addressed are neuromuscular control, enhancement of energy capacity, exercise performance and environmental stress, body composition, energy balance, weight control, exercise and successful aging, and disease prevention. Prerequisites: PE 200, B 155, B 156, PE 421. (Spring)
