A study of the role of money, institutions, and financial markets. Special emphasis is placed on examining central bank policies that target interest rates, money supply measures and banking regulations. How such polices are perceived and accepted by financial markets and bring about macroeconomic change to an economy are topics within the scope of this course. Prerequisite: BA/EC 251, 252.
