The most important generalizations of biology and the phenomena upon which they are based with particular emphasis on the universal phenomena characteristic of all living things; the fundamentals of plant and animal structure, nutrition, genetics, reproduction, and the integration of the organism as a whole. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory per week.
