1 credit hour An introduction to basic guitar chords, strumming patterns, open position notes and scales, and basic technique. Skills will be applied to performance of simple songs in various styles using melody and accompaniment. Some simple solo arrangements will be included. An acoustic guitar, an electronic tuner, strings, a string winder and picks are required for this course. Prerequisite to private guitar. Pass/Fail. Music Fees apply.
