3 credit hours (As Needed) (Prerequisite: BIBL-1113) The Old Testament historical books, emphasizing the history of Israel, the conquest of the Promised Land and the tragedy of the Judges, the United Kingdom, its divisions, the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities, and the return from the exile. Archaeological materials and secular history are paralleled with the Biblical record. The basic message of each book is given and practical applications to the Christian life are presented.
