In this course students will examine current issues in elementary physical education, construct and teach developmentally appropriate units, establish a sound understanding of organizational techniques and methodology focusing effective use of academic learning time, and critique teaching methods through systematic observation of practice. Additionally, students will construct and apply on-going authentic assessments appropriate for the content, context and grade level as well as analyze physical education curriculum models. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to College of Education, TE 302, PHE 264, PHE 440 and senior standing. Credits: 3
