This course will examine numerous cases of corporate and governmental wrongdoing in the areas of health care, environmental destruction, job safety, discrimination, business practices and foreign markets. Structural and societal reasons for the persistence of corporate deviance, reactions and solutions to corporate deviance will be highlighted. Prerequisite Sociology 155 or 202 or permission.
